The Perfect Brunch – How to Cook Restaurant-Style Bacon at Home

Brunch

Can you really call it brunch without bacon?

For perfectly cooked slices just like at your favorite breakfast restaurant, follow our tried-and-true method. You’ll get perfectly crispy slices that hold their shape! Ideal for pairing with even the heartiest breakfasts or topping the best BLT… all without the splatter!

Equipment: Oven, baking sheet, parchment paper, paper towels

First, preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper—one layer is enough! Arrange the Lafleur bacon slices in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. Place in the oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the desired texture is reached. Be sure to remove the baking sheet just before the bacon reaches perfect crispness, as it will continue to crisp up as it cools. While the bacon is cooking, prepare a plate lined with paper towels. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and transfer the Lafleur bacon slices onto the paper towels. Blot excess grease and enjoy!

Bonus: For perfectly flat slices like those from your local casse-croûte, place a second sheet of parchment paper over the Lafleur bacon and top it with another baking sheet.
