Sardine Hide-and-Seek

The rules of sardine hide-and-seek are simple. To start, one child hides while the others count to 30. Then, everyone goes looking for the hidden child—the sardine. When a child finds the sardine, they hide together. One by one, the other children who find the sardine join in until only one child is left searching. That child loses and becomes the sardine for the next round.

Treasure Hunt

To create a fun treasure hunt for kids, choose a theme they love—dinosaurs, princesses or superheroes, for example. Then hide objects related to that theme. Kids can even dress up according to the theme to make it even more fun.

Obstacle Course

There are lots of ways to set up an obstacle course for kids. You can place hoops of different sizes on the ground and have the kids jump from one to another. You can organize a potato sack race to see who reaches the finish line first. Or create a zigzag path with chairs that kids have to run around while dribbling a ball.
