Pears Stuffed with Smoked Ham

Ingredients Preparation Products
  • 80 mL (1/3 cup) plain yogurt
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 10 mL (2 tsp.) curry paste or powder
  • 375 mL (1 1/2 cups) Feuillantines Lafleur Smoked Black Forest Ham, finely chopped
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) red pepper, finely diced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) cucumber, finely diced
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 2 ripe pears, cut in half and seeded or 4 canned pear halves
  1. 1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lime juice and curry paste or powder.
  2. Add ham and vegetables. Season to taste.
  3. Gently hollow out the pear halves and trim the underside to preven them from wobbling. Place ham mixture in the hollowed-out pear halves.
Serve as an entrée.
