Ingredients
- 20 large cubes (2.5 cm/1") of Lafleur Authentic Oven Roasted Ham
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- Your choice of vegetables: sliced zucchini, green pepper, mushrooms, red onions, etc.
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 5 mL (1 tsp.) dried oregano or basil
- Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Make 4 kebabs with vegetables and ham.
- Mix remaining ingredients to make sauce that may be used to marinate kebabs, brush on kebabs during cooking or drizzle on cooked kebabs prior to serving.
- Grill kebabs on a very hot barbecue until lightly browned. Cooking time is short. Take care that kebabs do not burn.
- Serve immediately with salad and potatoes or rice.
Note :
It is best to blanch certain vegetables, such as mushrooms and zucchini, before using them to make kebabs.
