Ham and Spinach Quiche
Ham and Spinach Quiche

Ingredients Preparation Products
  • 23 cm (9") pie crust, precooked
  • 225 g (1/2 lb) Express Lafleur Maple Smoked Ham, thinly sliced
  • 250 mL (1 cup) chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 mL (1 cup) milk or 10% cream
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) maple syrup
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 250 mL (1 cup) grated cheese of your choice (Mozzarella, Gruyere, Emmenthal, etc.)
  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
  2. Place ham and spinach in pie crust.
  3. Beat eggs and milk in a bowl with a whisk.
  4. Add syrup and spices. Season to taste.
  5. Pour mixture into pie crust and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Place in middle of oven and cook for about 20 minutes.
Serve hot, or cold as a packed lunch. Delicious served with maple syrup.
