Preparation
  1. Brown sausages and ham in oil in a pot.
  2. Add garlic, onion and celery and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add rice and cook 1 minute while stirring to ensure the rice is well-coated by the oil.
  4. Add chicken stock, tomato paste and herbs. Season to taste and mix well.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce to medium-high heat and simmer, partially covered, for 7 to 8 minutes.
  6. Add lentils and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve with vegetables.

Suggestion :

For a more subtle flavour, use fresh sausages instead of smoked sausages : Lafleur European Sausages With Fines Herbs or Lafleur Lean Pork and Beef Sausages.
