Ingredients
- 225 g (1/2 lb) Express Lafleur Black Forest Smoked Ham, finely chopped
- 1 package (250 g) cream cheese, softened
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) red onion, finely chopped
- 10 mL (2 tsp.) fresh herbs of your choice, chopped (parsley, chives, basil, tarragon, etc.)
- Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
- 4 large tortillas
- 4 cucumber, quartered and seeded
Preparation
- Mix Smoked Ham and cheese in a bowl until mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add red onion and herbs. Season to taste.
- Spread each tortilla with a quarter of the creamy Smoked Ham mixture. Place a piece of cucumber at one end and roll tortilla.
- Cut in two and keep in refrigerator until time to serve.
Suggestions :
To serve as hors d’oeuvres, cut each wrap into 6 bite-sized pieces. You can replace the salami with another type of deli meat, such as Mortadella, ham or turkey.
For a children's party or family picnic, you can make special kebobs the kids'll love! Cut each wrap into 6 bite-sized pieces and stick them on bamboo skewers, alternating the pieces of the wraps with your choice of vegetables.
