Pizza with smoked ham and three cheeses

A great way to use up left-over ham.

Pizza with smoked ham and three cheeses
 
 
 
List of ingredients
  • 1/2 lb (225 g) Lafleur Express Country Ham
  • 125 mL (½ cup) pizza sauce
  • 1 16-in (40-cm) pizza crust, prebaked or unbaked
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 125 mL (½ cup) mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 100 mL (1/3 cup) Emmental cheese, grated
  • 65 mL (1/4 cup) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil, chopped
  • Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Spread sauce over pizza crust.
  3. Top with ham and red onion.
  4. Cover with cheeses. Bake pizza in the middle of the oven for 5 to 7 minutes or till cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.

  • Use pita bread or tortillas instead of pizza crust.
