Euro hot dogs with Dijon sauerkraut

A twist on the traditional hot dog.

Euro hot dogs with Dijon sauerkraut
 
 
 
List of ingredients
  • 4 fresh Lafleur Authentique Beauce Maple Sausages
  • 4 6-inch crusty French rolls (80 g each)
  • 160 g (2/3 cup) sauerkraut, store-bought
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) Dijon mustard
  • 5 g (1 teaspoon) brown sugar
Preparation
  1. Add mustard and brown sugar to sauerkraut, mix well and set aside.
  2. Grill sausages and rolls.
  3. Cut each roll in half lengthwise and add sausage, then sauerkraut.
Tips from the chef
  • Use your favourite cole slaw instead of sauerkraut if you prefer.
