List of ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 12 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of Lafleur Montagnard Smoked Ham
  • 8 slices of Lafleur Reduced salt fully cooked Bacon
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 sliced tomatoes
  • 4 slices of yellow cheddar cheese
  • Butter and mayonnaise (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
  1. Fry eggs till yolks are firm.
  2. While eggs are cooking, toast bread. Spread with butter, then mayonnaise to taste if desired.
  3. Place each egg on a piece of toast, add ham and cheese.
  4. Cover with a second piece of toast, add lettuce, tomatoes and bacon, and top with another piece of toast.
  5. Stick four toothpicks in each sandwich and cut into four equal pieces.
Tips from the chef
  • For those with smaller appetites, prepare the recipe with just two slices of bread.
